How long is your data retention policy?
We retain customer data only for as long as it is needed to deliver and improve your workflows. You can configure retention periods based on your internal policies, and we support custom deletion schedules. When data is no longer needed or upon request, it is permanently deleted from all systems. By default we delete customer data after 30 days.
How do you connect to my data?
Reindeer connects to your existing systems through secure APIs and standard enterprise integrations. We don't require you to move data to a third-party environment. We support integrations with ERPs, email systems, document repositories, and other enterprise tools your teams already use.
Where is my data stored?
Your data stays in a dedicated, single-tenant cloud environment, kept separate from other customers. You choose the cloud provider and region that meet your compliance requirements. We also maintain zero data retention agreements with all of the LLM vendors we use.
Do you train your models on my data?
No. Reindeer agents learn from your operations to improve accuracy within your specific workflows only. Any models fine-tuned on your data belong to you and remain in your environment. That learning stays within your environment and is fully under your control.
Can I use my own LLM / bring my own model?
Yes. You choose which LLM processes your data, whether an open source model running behind a firewall or your preferred vendor like Google, Anthropic, OpenAI, or AWS. This gives you full control over model selection, cost, and compliance.
Who has access to my data within Reindeer?
Access is strictly limited and controlled. Reindeer personnel access your data only to the extent needed to support and maintain the system. Internally, all access is governed by role-based controls, logged, and auditable.
How do you handle incident response?
We maintain documented incident response procedures aligned with our SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO 27001 certifications. In the event of a security incident, we follow a defined escalation process and notify affected customers within the timeframes required by applicable regulations and your contract terms. We also conduct regular penetration testing and maintain vulnerability management protocols to reduce risk proactively.
What happens to my data if I cancel my contract?
Upon termination, you can export all your data during a defined transition period. After that window closes, all customer data is permanently deleted from our systems, including backups, within a specified timeframe. We provide written confirmation of deletion upon request.
